S.C. state football poll, Week 6

Myrtle Beach's stay atop the Class AAA rankings has now lasted half of the 2014 season.

The defending state champions defeated their fourth consecutive opponent from the state's largest class with a 49-42 win over Conway last week, a victory that pushed the Seahawks' overall win streak to 13 straight games. As a result, Mickey Wilson's team remained No. 1 for another week.

Loris also stayed put at No. 3 in the Class AA rankings, behind only Dillon and Timberland, after taking down Georgetown last Friday.

The Bulldogs fell out of the Class AAA rankings but are still receiving votes. Likewise, Socastee is receiving votes in Class AAAA.
