Looking for ways to pinch pennies?

Bargain hunters have a variety of online resources where they can find coupon codes and and discounts.

Retailmenot.com, for example, has a database of deals from more than 13,000 stores to peruse. However, the coupon codes -- which must be entered at checkout in order to get the discount -- aren't foolproof. Check out the "success rate" listed for each of the coupons to find out the chances of it actually working.

Dailyedeals.com and Currentcodes.com are a few other sites with searchable coupon databases.

If you have any favorite coupon sites, please share.

I like bradsdeals.com. All of the coupons actually work! I've had such trouble with other sites...retailmenot sometimes has a hundred codes on a page and they're all expired! Brad (or whoever) must just do a better job removing ones that don't work anymore. They also keep track of all the "deals"...

I recently found a new one called CouponNinja.com that I like. Just like the comment above, it isn't full of expired coupons and has a huge database of active ones.
