My top ten
OK, here are my top 10 tips that I find have helped me with my weight lose journey.
1. Eat breakfast every morning.
2. Enjoy fruit in yogurt for a mid morning snack, veggies in the afternoon.
3. Eat dinner on a salad plate. Don't go back for refills.
4. Play with the grand-kids outside in the yard, it doesn't feel like exercise and it makes me look cool with the kids.
5. Make your largest meal your lunch, you have time to work it off.
6. Dress up everyday it makes you feel good about yourself.
7. Buy clothes at the local Goodwill for those in between sizes. You don't want to stay in them but can't go naked either.
8. Treat yourself to new pair of shoes or two when you make a goal, the higher the heel the better.
9. Don't beat yourself up when the chocolate week hits. Indulge yourself a little bit and remember skinny people eat chocolate too, they just don't admit it.
10. Mix club soda with your wine. The bubbles give it a bit of a champagne feeling and it cuts the calories in half.
