Ripley's Aquarium in Myrtle Beach will feature a year-long exhibit devoted to nature's incubators - featuring baby sharks, seahorses, frogs, jellyfish and dinosaur eggs.
The exhibit will debut Feb. 1 at the attraction at Broadway at the Beach and run through the year, the company said. It replaces the previous exhibit about pirates, which ran for two years.
The aquarium, which sells about a million tickets a year, will show embryonic sharks develop and hatch, seahorse fathers taking care of their offspring, and other youngsters.
Ripley's is open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday to Thursday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $18.99 for people 12 years old and up, $9.99 for children 6 to 11 and $3.99 for ages 2 to 5.
Didn't quite get the pirate theme. My and my brother joked "Ah, pirates, in their natural habitat."
